I thank all the troops who are serving our country, at home and in foreign lands so that I can be able to live a free life. My nephew has served a year in Iraq and my son-in-law is deploying in August of 2006. We live in a small community in a valley that is very beautiful. Winters are cold and snowy, spring is slow to come but welcome when it gets here, summer can be warm and nice and fall is extraordinarily colorful with the changing of the leaves. Again, to all our troops and your families, thank you. I appreciate your sacrifice to make us safe.

Hello, my name is Joe and I'm a Boy Scout from Troop 45 in Mineola, NY. Recently, I carried out a Boy Scout Eagle Service Project in which myself and fellow scouts collected, packaged and shipped supplies over to troops in Iraq. Through Nick's organization, the packages were delivered to these troops and the supplies I collected were shared among the many soldiers I send them too. I also had collected monetary donations in which i raised a little over $2,000. With that money, I purchased 200 phone cards, through the United States Post Office, so that these soldiers can call home.

Wendy & Nick, I so enjoyed the Elkland parade. Spending time with SSgt. Johnsons boys reminded me of what sacrifice is! I hope some day they feel as proud of their father as I am of mine, and theirs. Dad was 508th. PIR in WWII. I wrote down what i wanted to say but decided to wing it. I was honored to be part of the Elkland fund raiser was overwhelmed by the donations and sales, but was disappointed by the lack of notes in guest book. I know from driving truck that it is important to hear from home and your friends,so you can focus on your task at hand, and know you are not forgotten, and missed! I know very few of the troops serving around the globe personally, but I pray for them all everyday!! and will till I draw my final breathe! I will continue to push for people to come to this site often, to just say "Hi" or "We Love You!!,Be safe!". I feel what you are doing with this site is great! Can't wait for all to come home so we can have SSgt Johnson ride where his youngest did ,with us in the next parade. God Bless You All!! Proud To Be American! Frank We are with you Robbie,Deano and All PA troops!

Nick and Wendy, My son, Daniel, (USMC) received his vest last week. He feels especially honored to wear it after reading all the inscriptions, many from Vietnam Vets who offered great words of encouragement. His fellow Marines felt blessed to have all the grateful thoughts and prayers on their behalf.
